This is the exact image that inspired me to reach out to Dirty Martini many years ago. I was researching Mae West and kept Googling images of her, when this particular photograph kept appearing in my search. I was completely captivated by it...the glamour, the attitude, the mystery. It was unmistakably burlesque, with just the right amount of mischief.

I wanted to share the image, so I reached out to Dirty Martini to ask for permission to post it. I never could have imagined where that simple request would lead.

That was the beginning of such a beautiful friendship and most treasured partnership.What started with an image and a little curiosity eventually became a creative connection and ultimately, Dirty Martini x Appeeling.
